My favourite storybook as a child was Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid.

I was in love with the idea of being a merchild and dreamt of spending my days playing in an underwater

palace with it’s coral walls and amber windows.

I wanted to create a collection that would evoke that magical feeling of reading a storybook and transport a child deep down into the world of the merpeople.
